Job Description

Our client, a respected multi-office law firm with a national practice, is seeking a Real Property Coverage Associate to join its California team.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of civil litigation experience, with a background in insurance defense and matters involving real estate-related disputes. Experience handling claims involving property damage, construction defects, personal injury, professional negligence, transportation, products liability, or commercial litigation is highly desirable.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with all phases of litigation, including written discovery, depositions, motion practice, case evaluation, and client reporting. The role offers the opportunity to work on complex insurance coverage and real property matters within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of civil litigation experience
  • Insurance defense background preferred
  • Experience with discovery, depositions, and motion practice
  • Exposure to real estate-related litigation, construction, professional liability, transportation, products liability, or commercial disputes
  • Strong analytical, writing, and advocacy skills
  • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California
  • Ability to work from the firm's Orange County office on a regular basis
